Born after 19 long hours of labor!
He spent a week in the NICU due to breathing problems and an infection because my water had been broken for over 18 hours. But he was healthy aside from that! Only spent about 2 days needing help breathing and after that was only there because he had to have his antibiotics through his IV line.
That week was the hardest thing I ever had to do and see! My baby who I carried inside me for 9 long months laying there with wires hooked up to him. Not being able to have him home for the first week of his life! I honestly feel like I missed so much with him being in the hospital for the first week of his life!

It was the best feeling in the world when we were able to take him home! I felt so complete!
It was hard after carring him for 9 months inside me, feeling his every movement, knowing he was safe and sound, to seeing him for about 6-8 hours everyday. To not having him with me all the time like I had for 9 months. It hurt so bad every time we left the hospital to go home for the night. I spent many nights in the bath just crying because I needed my baby with me but couldnt have him with me! And then I had him with me! Nothing felt better then having him home with us! To be his soul caretakers not having to worry about his cords and IV line!
Life was never better!!
And here he is now! All 16lbs 6oz and 26.25 in of him!! Learning to roll over and trying to get on his knees! Loving his num-numms!
Being his Mommy is such an amazing feeling!! I would not change it for the world!
